This is a really fun one for kids! I use a sugar cookie mix from the grocery store and make the cookies as directed. You can also buy store bought frosting or make your own buttercream frosting at home.
The homemade buttercream adds SO much so I highly recommend making your frosting at home. Check out the dairy free recipe I use below.
Once you have made the cookies and whipped up your buttercream frosting you cut up any fruit that you want. Our favorite to add to this treat are strawberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges (canned) and blueberries!
The kids love helping every step of the process and especially decorating their own cookie!
We love this for family night or on a slow Sunday.
Enjoy!
