Honey Oat White Bread ~
This is my favorite bread to make on Sundays because it is not as time consuming as other breads and it is just as yummy.
Recipe ~
4 cups warm water
4.5 tsp yeast
6 TBSP honey
6 TBSP melted butter
1 TBSP salt
1/2 cup sprouted oats
5 cups bread flour
3 cups all purpose flour + more if dough is sticky or need a little extra for consistency.
Combine water, yeast and honey.. cover with plate or dish towel and let stand 5 minutes until foamy
Stir in butter, salt, oats, flour until dough forms.
If needed, add more All Purpose flour in 1/2 cup increments until dough is kneadable and not sticky
Knead 5 minutes until smooth
Cover with light weight dish cloth and rise 1 hour or until doubled
Punch down, knead
Divide into 3 loaves and add to greased bread pans. I like to use olive oil to grease my pans. Cover with light weight dish cloth.
Rise for 30 minutes
Bake @ 350 for 35-45 minutes
Enjoy!
